WHAT IS THIS ALL ABOUT?

Loves, Unboxed is an immersive, multimedia sensory experience where the pulsating rhythm of the heart influences real-time generated animations and music tailored to our emotions. We created four generative animations using Notch and TouchDesigner, merging the worlds of 3D and 2D effects. Smooth transitions between 3D and 2D effects required the creation of a primary, overarching system that enables quick switching between these engines.

From the moment of entry, the user was guided by an interactive system using LiDAR sensors. Participants were greeted and instructed by visual and voice commands, creating an automatic connection between humans and technology. A pulse sensor (similar to that of a smartwatch) detected the heartbeat—this subtle touchpoint personalized the experience, driven by unique emotions, creating an immersive, visual-audio space.
